breaking hearts has never looked so cool [ 28.06.04 - 12:05 nuts to politics. ] the big election is today & i couldn't care less. things look grim for our poor liberal friends with the conservatives nipping at their heels. having never registered to vote, i'm not able to 'make my voice heard'. my mom actually has my registration package, & next year, i'll sing from the very mountaintops. i'm frustrated with politics. i won't vote for the best party (which, for me, is ndp - much to the chagrin of my saskatchewanian coworkers). rather, i will vote for the party that keeps the conservatives (aptly described as "the Canadian Bush") out. this is the liberals, aka the lesser of two evils. i want to punch paul martin in his stupid face, but at least he's not a conservative. i am a strong believer in "the wasted vote". ask ralph nadar, he'll tell you the same. anyway. i hate politics. not much else is going on. work is making me ridiculously angry, but i'm so listless that job-searching sounds like mid-evil torture techniques. last night, i received an email from my "substitute boss" bitching at me for this & that & i was absolutely enraged at the audacity. so i've ignored the email & ignored him.
