breaking hearts has never looked so cool [ 13.05.04 - 10:39 a disturbing confession. ] i don't like ernest hemingway. that's right, i said it. i find him redundant & bromidic. i think the best description of my feelings for mr. hemingway would be a quote: "a farewell to arms makes me wish i was illiterate." the boy who said this, however, liked for whom the bell tolls, so he still sucks. mind you, i haven't read the entirety of either of these books, because the minute i get through the first five pages, i wish that someone would appear as if my pixie magic & administer the lethal injection. i did however, suffer through some short stories that went something like this: "it was snowing. there was snow on the ground. there was snow on the trees. i said, 'woman, get me a drink.' i had a bullet in my leg. the bullet in my leg hurt." ugh! however interesting his life may have been, the best part for me was when he shot himself.
