breaking hearts has never looked so cool [ 07.10.03 - 11:11 - ] i'm pretty sure i'll never make a female friend in victoria. seems like everyone i meet has been befriended by my arch-nemesis, & i feel like i would be a big joke between them. something along the lines of, "oh, man, ashley said such & such today! what a riot!" & so on. girls are like that, you know. mean, mean, two-faced people, hellbent on appearing better than everyone else, with disregard for anyone else's feelings. at least in my experience.* it's really hard to trust anyone when you've been 'tricked' by them so many times. in other news, i went out with ian tonight, which was, as usual, wonderful. we went strolling through the streets, where we came across the set of the muchmusic movie. there we saw a giant crane, the swollen members, & a lot of slutty extras. apparently the mighty climax is happening in our fair city, & tomorrow will bring the arrival of canadian superstars avril lavigne, gob & sum41, as well. tonight was, for small town me, my first movie set. i will write about it in my diary, & maybe hang eagerly around the set tomorrow & hope to be discovered. but more likely, i'll sit at home & mope. *note: this is a sweeping generalization of every female friend i've had.
